Why Blog You Say?

Great question.  Many people have asked me how I decided on the content to include in my weekly posts.

As an actor, storyteller & freelance writer, I tell them that I personally like to write about:

  • The real things that affect & interest people in the acting world
  • What the acting training arena is about & who the relative players are
  • How fashion & wardrobe play roles in an actor’s life
  • The day-to-day impact of lifestyle, health, travel, food, family, humor, exercise, attitude, & faith in an actor’s life
  • The roles that passion, motivation, hope, humility & emotion play in an actor’s life
  • How an actor’s auditions & performances evolve
  • The artistry & creativity of an actor
  • Acting as a business
  • How an actor affects communities & global perceptions
  • The ways an actor can influence others
  • What an actor brings to the entertainment industry
  • The legacy that an actor creates
  • How inspiration affects an actor’s life

What personally interests you? How do you inspire others?

As we all try to balance our careers, free time & family time, I appreciate those useful tips that help smooth the sailing as we try to navigate through life. If you are anything like I am, I love to soak up the pearls of wisdom that others freely offer.

Blogging is a fun way of connecting with my readers.   It can bring tremendous joy.  Socially speaking, is sort of like having a conversation with readers from around the world.

I love people.

I love talking to people.

I love interacting with people.

I love sharing anything that gives perspective, sparks a new interest, fosters hope, provides faith or provides even a temporary escape from some of life’s greatest stresses.

Writing for me is a creative expression of many ideas and life experiences that can be brought to readers. Sharing my life’s journey inspires my writing.  It is one of my ways of:

  • giving back to the community.
  • providing a global difference in the world.
  • reaching out as a teacher
  • making a tangible difference in someone’s life
  • helping someone achieve their dream

What do you love doing? What brings joy to your life?

Have you thought about how you might be able to give something to someone?

Stay tuned for next week’s post ….
